World Peace

We asked Aqua what he would suggest would be the largest single factor to bring about world peace, he said

"World peace is a larger challenge, to achieve that you need all people to believe that a life anywhere is of the same value, so for example a Palestinian is the same value as a Israeli, and that any person anywhere who is injured will bleed, feel pain and suffer loss in the same way. That may sound obvious, but if people genuinely understood this they would be less inclined to harm others, to allow their governments to do so, or to supply arms for others to do it."

New Atlantis, has been talking of a project involving ambassadors of peace, but their idea is to have a collection of people of all nationalities, that are each ambassadors of their country or region, so that these people become an extended group of friends and can press the image that all humanity is equal and valued. This is an extended part of the project you may have read about before where they were going to have citizen princesses and princes for each continent, but these may be some of the ambassadors.

Jessica says the starting point is "being tolerant and pleasant to others and expecting others to behave the same". We can all agree with her cant we.
